- For individual concrete mixtures, isothermal and/or adiabatic hydration curves can be produced, which can be used as the input for advanced software packages for the determination of the temperature distribution in hardening concrete structures and also cracking risk in the concrete structure.
- Contractors are now facing required service lives of 80, 100, or even 200 years, especially for infrastructure works. Currently, used design codes generally do not give sufficient guidance for designing concrete structures for such long service lives. Even though modeling of deterioration processes is a complex task, it is only these models that have the power to simulate and predict the long-term performance of materials and structures.
Experemote team will prepare different numerical models for prediction of service life or cracking risk of concrete structure, to have a good estimate of the behavior of the concrete structure.
